What is a K-Cup Holder?
A K-Cup Holder works great at home and at the office for holding your favorite coffees in a more compact area than the standard boxes allow. Another advantage of owning one is that you’re able to organize your K-Cups in a way that works well for your needs. They come in various sizes ranging from the apartment size 18 cup mini to the large family 35 cup, all the way into small business size 8o cup and larger. Whatever your need, there’s one that will help you find the extra organization you’re looking for.
Most K-Cup Holders are fundamentally the same. The most common styles are tower, rack, basket, and carousel. A Carousel is a device that suspends the K-Cups in circular shape. They allow for up to 35 plus K-Cups to be displayed at a time depending on model. Tower Holders have a rectangular shape, but stand vertically. They typically hold about as many as the carousel depending on which model you decide on. Rack’s are usually found in office environments and have a capacity ranging from 48 to 244 K-Cups. Baskets are more of a freestyle way to organize your favorite coffees, hot chocolates, and teas. Baskets are typically designed to be stack-able. They’re pretty much self explanatory otherwise. Regardless of the style you prefer, it will help you keep that counter at home or the office looking neater.
K-Cup holders are more than just functional though, they can also be stylish. Their finishes vary from paint to power coating all the way to completely chrome. Their style should reflect your style, but don’t forget about capacity. A large family or office may need to sacrifice style a bit to meet demand requirements. Before you decide which one will work best for you, here are some things to consider.
Things to consider before purchasing a K-Cup Holder
- How many K-Cups are used a day at home or the office? If you’re at home, multiply this number times 7. If you’re at work, multiply this number by the amount of days in your work week?
- How many different flavors do you keep in stock? This is a factor to consider when you’re trying to decide what size holder to purchase.
- How much available counter space do you have? After figuring out how many K-Cups you use in a week, you may be a little shocked! We understand, they’re awesome! If you’re a little cramped on counter space, a tower or mini carousel may be the best choice for you. If you’re not cramped for space, its going to be more of a style decision for you.
- Who’s task will it be to keep it stocked up? If it’s primarily you, how much time do you want to spend tending to your K-Cup Holder each week. Obviously the smaller it is, the more attention it will require to keep stocked.
- How much money do you want to spend? their prices range from twenty dollars to around fifty for home sized holders. Office sized holders range from fifty to a couple of hundred dollars.
